Joe Gonzalez – CPOA, Operations Manager, Optician, Low Vision Technician
Joe successfully completed the course and passed the Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) and Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA) test given by the American Optometric Association.
Having over 25 years experience in optics (20 with me), Joe’s knowledge of lenses and optical devices is second to none. He loves working with our low vision patients to help them adapt to the low vision aids that Dr. Miller prescribes. His knowledge of frame and lens materials helps patients in their selection of eyewear to best suit their needs.
Joe wears many hats and is Dr. Miller’s right hand man. If you have questions regarding our practice, glasses, or low vision he is the guy to speak with. His caring demeanor and fun-loving personality make him irreplaceable.
When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with friends and visiting family. He loves all things Wonder Woman!

Leslie Fuentes – Office Manager, CPO, Optometric Technician
Leslie has successfully completed the Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPO) exam given by the American Optometric Association. She has been in eye care since 2008 and is our lead technician. She has extensive knowledge of various contact lenses and loves working with custom contacts to help our low vision patients. When Leslie is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and her son, Andrew.

Lesli Dove – Front Desk Coordinator & Insurance Specialist
Lesli has worked in the medical field as an Insurance Specialist and Receptionist for 9 years. She has a caring demeanor and is always willing to help.
If you have questions about your insurance benefits, she is the one to ask. She loves being able to interact with patients and try and help them as much a possible with any questions they may have. Give her a call and let her schedule an appointment with one of our doctors.
When she is not working she loves spending time with family and friends and visiting her daughter and son in-law, Shelby and Derrick, in Forney Texas.

Galen Hudson – Optometric Technician
As the newest member of the Northwest Hills Eye Care team, Galen has been learning the ropes under Leslie’s tutelage. Luckily, he hit the ground running with previous optometry experience. With a degree and background in Health and Fitness Promotion, Galen enjoys spending time in the gym hitting the weights, getting fit, and helping others do the same. He now strives for healthy and strong eyes as well.

Jasmin Ocampo – Optometric Technician
Jasmin is a quiet but spunky addition to our team. She is our coordinator for myopia management and loves working with all ages. This health-conscious traveler spends her time in the gym and hopping flights. She loves traveling to Mexico which is easy to understand, as her favorite dishes are Mexican cuisine. Daily goals include doing as much cardio as possible and drinking as much water as she can handle.

Amanda Herrera – CPOT, Opthometric Technician & Optician
Amanda has successfully completed the Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPOT) exam given by the American Optometric Association. She has worked in the eye care field since 2014 and received extensive certifications from contacts lens specialist to technician. When Amanda is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, dog and 2 cats. She loves to bake and play the piano and cello.

– Victoria Munoz – CPO, Optician & Low Vision Coordinator
Victoria has successfully completed the Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPO) test given by the American Optometric Association. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry.
Victoria began her career at Northwest Hills Eye Care straight out of high school. She has been a patient of Dr. Miller’s since the second grade. Being part of this team has given her the opportunity to learn so many skills. She has worked in multiple positions in the practice including technician, optician, reception, scribing, and now low vision coordinator. Victoria is now working on her Certified Low Vision Therapist (CLVT) certification and her future plans are to obtain her Doctorate in Optometry. When Victoria is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
